Super Bowl 49 is in the books and New England is the champs.
Our call on the game was Seattle at a pick em’
With that said and with most of my emotions on hold this morning after… I have now heard all the takes from several of the ESPN shows such as Mike & Mike, First Take and the Herd. And all of them had good and bad points. In my opinion Seattle was the right side, sometimes as handicappers you hear after a loss “we had the right side”, however most of those times we are wrong in saying that, but this time I can live with that. Congrats to the New England backers, as you guys collected and in the end that is what matters.
Looking back to yesterday not only did we get the bad break on the Seahawks but we had the Michigan Wolverines too! For those who may not have saw their game with the Michigan St. Spartans here is the deal, we had Michigan +9.5 and had several chances at winning the game outright, but we are only concerned with the cover! So losing the game by 4 to 6 points looked like what was going to happen, but late in the game with the Spartans up by two, Michigan ties the game at 66-66. With time left on the clock and Michigan St. with the ball they have time to get the win by either drawing a foul, a two pointer or a three pointer, but they miss the shot and the game goes to overtime. And in OT Michigan St. outscores Michigan 10-0 the win the game 76-66 and beating my number by a half point!
Worst part of the day we finish just 1-4 as our only winner was the Dayton Flyers over Fordham.
Days like that happen in sports betting and its just one of the many elements that makes me love what I do.
Tonight we have 3 plays in the NBA and those picks are up and ready now at www.hotcappersreport.com
I hope to be back up on this blog more in 2015 than I was in 2014 and just talk sports with you guys and if you decide to take a look at our sports picks, then that will be a plus as we always try our best to win for our clients and never hide the fact that we too are human just like Pete Carroll and the kids that play hoops for the Michigan Wolverines.
